Repeat after me. "My adjustable crescent wrench is not a hammer!". :P

😂 I can't fit a real hammer in my tiny tool box!

I just got my Woodland Mills WC46 last week, put it together over the weekend and did a quick test on it late yesterday afternoon. I was fairly certain it was the chipper I wanted, but I watched a few of your previous videos and your experiences made the final decision for me--thanks for the great videos and honest info, I am very happy with the new chipper, it will be getting a serious workout here shortly!

Great news! There are few things more satisfying than cleaning up your own mess on a nice day when you're not crunched for time. Enjoy!

That’s a big saw to be cutting smaller trees.

Agreed. Those trees don't appreciate being called small 😆 I need to buy a new bar (and chain) for my 545...

Given the weather we’ve had, I thought this was going to be cleaning up downed limbs and trees! I took an inspection walk on my property yesterday and the carnage after the 16-18” of heavy wet snow is significant. Even more than the snow and ice about 10 days prior. I’ll probably be cleaning it up all year. Lost a few nice $ white pines, and several junky ones along with a bunch of red maple.

I haven't scoped out the back 40 just yet, but minimal carnage along the driveway and around the house thankfully. Sorry for your loss; glad it wasn't worse!

@@Academy_Farm I’ll try to salvage and extract some white pine logs… I hate to see good timber wasted. I have a neighbor who runs a sawmill, but he’s always really busy as it’s his livelihood. He did a big job for me (logging from my property and milling) to produce the material to restore my barn, but may not be interested in a very small job like this. Maybe I could send it your way 😆. I can always use some lumber around for projects!

My wife loves to help process the brush before we chip it. We have created MOUNTAINS of mulch and use it all over on the homestead! It was great to see another machine in action. It was hard to tell and he may have been using them, but ear plugs for your son behind the tractor as those things put out a lot of dB’s. Another safety helmet like yours is a great investment! I felt bad for you today watching this as it was 72F and sunny here in Missouri and I was in shorts mowing the pasture. Would love to see more videos on your chicken care, that’s our next addition.

Thanks! Yep, I make sure everyone has at least in-ear plugs. It gets loud at the shoot. Its no fun getting wacked in the face, especially when it's cold out. He's almost 15 now and doesn't enjoy it as much as you used to, but he's spend many hours feeding the chipper now. I'll try and share what I know about chickens soon! Thanks!

Also, I much prefer to do the work in the 40s like it was today. 70s is too hot...

Who do you use for your hats and stickers on the tractor ?
@Academy_Farm3 ай бұрын
I've got a vinyl cutter that I use myself to make the decal you see of the tractor and use Safari Sun, an apparel company out of FL to make the leather patch hats you see in the videos.
