I have ptsd with powered speakers. Been djing 13 years. When I first started I had super cheap pair of 15’s that actually worked and got me through. As SOOON as I was like ok time to upgrade knowing I had a cheaper pair of speakers…. I blew and or went thru 3/4 different pairs and brands of 15’s until I had an event where the room got to capacity and then sound totally went out…. From there used passive speakers for years lol like I still have anxiety when dealing with speakers. Btw I do now own a Bose L1 system and am looking to grab more lol. Great video bro. Keep up the content coming!!!!

I was working with a friend I was DJing he was karaoke three hour drive to gig and he has forgotten the Karaoke disc (yes this was pre pc/laptop times). I’ve also had the bridezilla who went nuts at me when I arrive at the venue at the signed contract time only to find out they were expecting me there all day! Turned out the person who booked me never asked!! Ended up leaving without doin the gig because of the amount of abuse (not my greatest moment but I don’t need that nor get paid enough for it). Question what do you do in the same situation? #karenisreal

One time I forgot to recharge my wireless mic batteries. The bars was 2. Lucky for me it lasted for the time I needed it. And no I was no where that I can run to a store lol. I have a corded mic in the bag now

My biggest nightmare is introduction. 2 weeks ago, i had a wedding with no introduction at all. Plus, the ceremony only had 2 walk out songs. In relation to music, I require a Spotify playlist for all "Special/Request Songs." I also ask about a "Do Not Playlist. "
