I hate that it does not work with the Nest App as the Google Home app is horrific. Long live the Nest App. Even the Nest smoke detector does not work with the Google Home app.

Hi @jamesm568, i hear you... I don't think about it too much and let this fact bug me. You are right about the Google Home app though. It could be better :) thanks for the comment

@@ericwsu It gets worse when you have ADT a security now when most of your next products actually don't work with ADT. I have to use three separate apps for home security now when I was able to only use one before thanks to Google. I miss my Nest Secure.
