Thank for this video, I am sure it will be very helpful for many of us. Kind of disappointed that Furitek did not do something like this. Can’t wait to build this and compare/race it against my Furitek builds. Looks killer, all the add on’s look bad ass, but I am going to try and keep the weight as low as possible on this one.

What every single FMS - FCX24 Power Wagon, K5 Blazer, & Smasher owner actually need are beefy stainless steel skid plates for the transmission & front & rear axle punkins because no company makes any skid plates for the FCX24.

Just got the chassis, really impressed with the quality! Would love a more detailed installation vid however, this plate goes here, using these holes, this plate will screw into these holes, etc. I’m having to pause the vid and try to figure out which holes and plates go where lol

Man, wish you guys were still doing the giveaways... Lol I just recently ruined my custom build that's in the videos on my channel, and wanted to upgrade to this one because it uses velcro. My brushless setup gone wrong has caused me to not be able to use the stock mounts or frame. I have 4wS, injora chromes and a hand painted Bigfoot 1 OG, And it's just sitting. Don't know what to do to fit all my custom electronics with the factory Frame and ruined the clips and cut out all my stock wiring and esc to run brushless and better servos. Broke right now, and wish there was a way to win one of those non portal flip chassis. They are beautiful, and look awesome. Plus are dark enough to keep the truck looking old school. ✌️🍻 Have a good Christmas!

Hi. I’m not sure I’ve seen any videos on it but it’s pretty simple. Move the right side to the left and flip over. Trim the little key tab off with an xacto. Then put it back on the truck 🤛🏼

Is keeping the slower speed an option with this chassis, or is it required to lock it out?

You could leave the shift shaft in place and put a dab of glue to hold it in high or low. But there is no option to mount the servo.

No mention of it in the comments but would a furitek rocketman transmission with the godzilla motor still work in this chassis if i dont care for the stock fcx24 trans or is there any other combo of trans/motor that fits these? IM wanting to build a indoor/outdoor backpack basher just a bit hesitant on how many times this things gonna break down and what especially with how much parts can add up to when it comes to rc.

I want to say I’ve seen someone use that transmission but I can’t be sure. We are moving into a larger home and work space soon so we will be making more content and products for 2024. So far the stock transmission housing with metal gears has worked perfectly. I plan to install the FUR 2347 system soon and will video the process and performance. Thx

Cool setup i just ordered one. Can the stock fms motor and transmission fit right in? Or does it need the 2spd delete like you showed?

It can fit but no room for the shift servo. You can always put a dab of glue like foam tac on the shift rod where it comes out of the case if you don’t want to open the transmission to install the lock out.

Sorry no, this chassis is all about raw speed and low CG. No room for a shift servo or slow gear.

I get that but it’s 2mm carbon with stainless hardware and billet transmission mount. Your axles, wheels etc would break before any impact large enough to even make this chassis flinch. I’ve jumped it on 1/10 scale monster truck jumps at full throttle with the high speed motor 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼. 2mm carbon is often used in 1/10 scale touring cars, rock crawlers, and buggies. If anything it’s actually way overbuilt. Thanks for your interest 🤛🏼

I get that but proof is in visuals. I’ll wait till customers (which none currently) have posted videos and reviews. You could put us at ease and post some bashing videos of it catching 1/10th scale air.
