Any tips on finding the sitting place for your seat and legs for proper centering to ride bums easier?

A lot of this has to do with comfort. If your legs are too flat it can cut off the circulation to your feet. If knees are too high it can cause other circulation issues. You would just have to play with it because its different for everyone. So, I would start as far forward as possible that is comfy for your height, move back one spot at a time until you STOP dropping in as easy. Then move it forward again 1 or 2.

Very curious. I just got a kahele about two months ago and I'm around 200lbs dry weight. Having a blast with it as it gives me more options to chase bumps due to its ability to maintain its speed in getting on a bump in downwinder and manoeuvre to drop into a side bump. I had a Antares before and always felt "stuck" riding a bump until things opened up for me in the swell. Will the getting a volare improve anything for me ?

The Kahele's greatest strength is it's maneuverability and it will get you out of a lot of tight spots. When I catch a bigger bump, often it will be the quartering/side small bump that will get in my way and I can use the zig zag kahele to follow that one instead, keeping me on a bump, but maybe not the bump I wanted. The Volare doesn't have as much maneuverability but with the larger volume will just run right through the small bump keeping me on the big one. It still turns really tight though. I'm 180Lbs and if it's windy, I want the Volare. It just holds the higher speed for so much longer.
