Titus Kaphar, Like you (at least as in 2017) I don't have twitter,Facebook, etc. I haven't even seen your Ted talk yet; this is my first encounter on June 7, 2020. This previous week of covid-19 pandemic intersected with George Floyd memorials and protests on KZbin, while as a sheltered-in-place senior citizen, I have viewed many historic statues damaged and removed. I was touched by your hope. You have my prayers for strength and peace with blessings.

Too bad the slides are too small and the details difficult to see. Great artist.

He is brilliant. I love him for saying black people. I know most African Americans prefer People of colour.

I prefer POC because if we don’t unite we will not be able to overcome the subjugation of being considered minorities even though we are all American citizens. You can Practice “culturalization” in your own community organization but on a political level I support POC. It’s like being in a union that supports all members as a single powerful group.

Why doesn’t he discuss the Arab-Islam African slave trade? Why is it always America and not Europe? Not the Middle East etc

Because that's cap lol the Arab slave trade was much like the African slave trade, which was closer to indentured servitude.

Because ONLY in America did Americans practice the brutality and immorality of “chattel slavery” as standard practice.
