About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

beautiful speech... makes me teary-eyed actually. if only PKR and BN could listen to this, and agree... and do something about it before Malaysia looses its heart and soul even more...

Beautifully put. Funny and very moving. We have lost our soul indeed and our love and respect for each other in this wonderful country. But as long as we can talk and discuss and think like this, we have hope!

I guess this person is a man. He is acting out an old 'makcik' character. What a creative way to penetrate people's subconscious with his idea of unifying all the beliefs system existing in Malaysia.

I wonder why you think that? I thought it was brilliant and poignant. She makes good points against the brushing aside of other cultures and even the superficial take on a singular culture. The lack of depth and meaning in Malaysian society today and the callous disregard we have for the diversity we are blessed with. Any right thinking individual would see the truth and poignancy behind her speech...
