Used to live in forest hill for 5 years only discovered blyth hill tavern right near the end. What a pub! The Guinness tatses phenomenonal! (I've never been to dublin mind)

I like backstreet pubs, Wickham arms in Brockley, Skein's in Nunhead & elephant and castle weatherspoons one of the best in my opinion.

Not a big fan of Skehans actually but quite like Wickham Arms

@@JakeMay skehans, its has a young demographic and a small boozer all the tick list of a good pub only problem is staff are abit rude and closed off. Where as Wickham arms is perfect n not many people know about it so it has a community feel to it if that makes sense.

Some good SE London pubs here. Others I'd recommend - Wickham Arms, The Cutty Sark, Plume of Feathers, Pelton Arms, and (ofcourse) the Mayflower.
