I like that they finally added visible bullets for the Winchester and R1895 for the new reload animations, and visible shells for the S1897. Seeing a closed fist and a thumb "pushing" in invisible bullets or shells was what bothered me a lot for some odd reason lol.

For the new reload animation for the Skorpion it seems like the character is having trouble putting the mag in. He stumbles for a second then gets the mag in. I like that, I wish more games did this.

It set a standard for fast reloading, there are still standards for non-twitchy tactical as hell reloads in other games. Insurgency Sandstorm for instance. Most popular FPS games are of the fast twitchy variety, so MW19's popularity has turned heads. I am not a fan personally, because the style leans super heavy on camera animations. When done wrong, as many games tend to do, the movements are more disorienting than believable. Battlefield 2042/Portal is pretty bad for this.

Fantastic job on the devs part. One of the things that always just kinda irked me about PUBG was it’s very bland and sometimes just poor animations that were clearly designed more around 3rd person perspective. This overhaul is fantastic and I’m incredibly happy to see more dev teams going back and polishing up animations after launch!

The slowness of the reloads had some charm in it and kinda made it feel like your character was a random survivor instead of this tactical war hero. It made you feel weak compared to the world, which is kinda the entire point of pubg. I love mw2019 reloads like the next guy, but I think the reloads of each game having their own approach is much better than just copying it. Also, the slowness of the normal reloads often make the fast reloads actually achievable. Now, they might look ridiculous and feel less impactfull.

I feel with adrenoline shots and energy drinks should speed up reloading but possible for like miss clipping your mag depending on the level of combat stress maybe heavy breathing and sight sway after running a certain distance.(adrenoline meter) I will accept direct deposit only for the idea.

So they definitely took MW19 as an inspiration… More aggressive tactical reloads, ala John Wick kind of reload… Me personally, I love that… But some people don’t apparently, based on the comment section… Guys, I loved the slow, methodical reload too, but those animations were too calm for in combat reload, and also too floaty for it to be an actual human movement… Our limbs moves more jerkily, and more snappy, like the new animation instead of this one fluid motion like the old one..
