for every one ho have doubt about i5 2400 if it can handle pubg is no, as you can see the i5 2400 usage is 100% in most cases in the above video it will not provide the best for the gtx1050ti, it will bottleneck for sure and if you are not playing in ssd then you better not play pubg it will be even more horror for you at 1080p gaming.

i have GTX 1060 3gb and i5 2400 and still have around 50 fps with huge drops and laggs 8gb ram i dont know why in 2019 my game work with 80-90fps without drop now i cant play

I think dust is the main reason to slow down your system update your ram into high MHz and buy good SSD

how'd you do that ? i have the same setup with 12gb of ram and my PUBG is unplayable i get 45fps max and it's very unstable with huge frame drops and freezes

This video is an old video before mclaren update where pubg become unplayable in i5 2400 and all the 4 threads CPUs, now pubg need at least 6 threads to avoid all drops and stutters. I tried i7 2600 it has 8 threads and the game works again just fine without any stutters ( check my last video i make a video with it)

bro I have 2400s and same specs but it lags a lot whenever I hot drop in squads or get into heavy fights the stutters make the game unplayable I literally get dropped down to 2-4 fps for a minute sometimes, will increasing my ram help and will 4gb ram stick work with an 8 one? I could beat anyone's ass as long as I get 45-50 fps consistently without stutters

the problem is with your CPU you have "S" which means that the CPU has lower performance for lower power draw i5 2400 (without S) is +10% better than i5 2400S

yes, you can but you will get some fps drop while landing on high settings especially hot drops (BootCamp, Pecado, school, villa, castle, etc ...) Anyway, you don't need a good graphic on fps games all pro players playing on very low settings even if they have a good PC.

If your PSU has a gpu cable then i advise you to buy 1650 it will offer a pretty decent performance compared to 1050 Ti
