Bass Fishing in Austin Texas is Incredible! We hit up Butler Park and Mueller Lake to do some urban bass fishing in this video. We found some nice bass hiding in the heart of Austin. These ponds were loaded with bass and really easy to fish. finding good public spots to fish can be difficult, so I thought I would share these ponds with y'all! We also had some interesting weather to deal with during our fishing trip! Tropical storm beta was rolling through an due got a little wet out there! IO hope y'all enjoy the video! I literally copied what these guys did, got some YUM Dingers, 3/0 offset hooks and some weights. Went to butler park and mueller. We caught a total of 5 bass. I got a good size one at mueller! What a blast. Thanks guys.

Yo bro thank you I am new to fishing. I have fished miler but no kick but I’m still learning. I am looking for some bass honey holes to find my PB. I live in manor we have several ponds but only had kick at 1. Any tips and or advise in baits kites etc would be appreciated.

Wacky rigged yum dingers are my number 1 lure for if you are just trying to catch a fish. Green pumpkin and watermelon red flake are some of the best colors for when the water is pretty clear. You will need to use more bold color like black and blue if the water is dirty. Work on your casting because those fish are going to be hugging tight to vegetation and structure in the water. Making good casts close to cover makes the world of a difference

Question what does having like loose drag do bc I see like drag getting pulled from a bass and I always have my drag to the max so that’s why I was asking what does having loos drag do

If you are fishing with small hooks or a lure with treble hooks it is extremely common to pull the hooks out of the fishes mouth if there is too much pressure. I also was fishing with 8lb line so a nice fish could have snapped the line with too much pressure. There are a lot of other scenarios where you will want the drag tightened all the way
