I've been a subscriber for what seems like forever, and for the first time I looked at your subscriber count. I thought you had millions, not 100 some thousand. You deserve millions. I cant believe it. I personally think you are one of, if not the best old school reviewer on KZbin. You've come so far from the days where you just sat on the floor of a poorly lit basement and forced the whole snob personality. Now you're a natural, with better lighting and less weight. I guess I just wanna say that you're great and deserve 10 times the followers just based on your improvement over the years, not to mention how genuinely good your show is now. Keep up the great work and I'll keep doing my best to get your name out there. You deserve far more recognition for all your hard work.

The SNOB IS the best. He's the only one I actually care to watch, who's opinions I tend to agree with, and who's subject matter and taste aligns with mine the most. He's maybe the ONE old school KZbinr person who I think deserves massive success and has kept to his integrity through it all where most others sold out and became advertisers rather than legitimate creators. There's a definite heart in all of Brad's videos which makes them enjoyable to watch. He's a guy who clearly cares about this stuff, has an idea of what he wants to do with content, and is consistent and authentic.

I've watched him since his earlier videos, and he's really glowed up. However, maybe he's not had big growth given the nature of the films he'd traditionally cover like exploitation, adult films, and making fun of religious films (which I don't mind, BTW). He's been at it forever.

Driller Killer was released in the UK in the 80's. After it's release, some wanker of a politician realized he could virtue signal and gain points after he saw it as a full page colour ad in one of those in store magazines they used to have to have in rental stores in the UK. I remember seeing it as a kid because my granny was a horror fan and she would babysit my sister and me while my mum worked. I saw a bunch of "nasties" at about 6 or 7 years old as this was happening. It helped she was friends with the guy that owned the rental store, so those ended up under the counter and out of sight. Some would say it was irresponsible, but like she'd say, mind your own fucking business. She always told us it was fake, nobody had really been hurt, and it gave me the beginnings of a life long appreciation for the genre from a technical standpoint. She died a few weeks ago and I miss her already.

1. I want to address the tagline for Driller Killer: "There are those who kill violently." What does that mean? As opposed to non-violent ways of killing? 2. Why do movies that mimic Star Wars feel the need to combine Han Solo and Luke Skywalker into one character? Because Spaceballs did this too. Not calling it a knock-off, just noticing something.

This review introduced me to the 'video nasties' Before the end of the day, I had printed out a list of every nasty and started searching for them, one by one. About 15%, I had already seen but others...Oh boy! There are some fun ones out there and some puzzling choices!!! There was a French film, whose title translated to, 'I Love you Hugs and Kisses tonight' lol But you also get Anthropopagus and it's sequel, Absurd. Zombi, Cannibal movies and so much more. You also get to laugh at the British goverments for being so prudish, sometimes leading to embarrassing results! I could go on but if your thinking of doing your own, "Nasty scavenger Quest." I encourage you to do so. HeLL of a fun time and considering how long ago, I did mine. Your Quest may be quicker! Either way. Thanks Brad, for "circulating the tapes" and sharing your knowledge.
