Thx for this one brother. Public Enemy was a very socially conscious group that spoke about the power imbalance and systemic racism. Yes, Fight The Power was a big hit for them along with Don’t Believe The Hype. I have a few friends that I’ve turned onto your channel. I’ll send you more requests.

Funny...I´m an old guy and back then I listened Public Enemy all the time since 87..and guess what... as NWA released their very first album "Straight outta Compton" in 89 my genuine thought was "That sounds like Public Enemy" By the way ..as Ice Cube left NWA in 1990 he went straight from LA to New York in order to meet Public Enemy/Chuck D respectively and his very first album "AmeriKKKa´s most wanted" was then produced by Public Enemy´s sound production team "The Bomb Squad". So Public Enemy/Chuck D respectively also gave Ice Cube the kick start for his Solo carreer.

I heard you say this sounds like Nwa lol What! Public Enemy was Nwa before Nwa was Nwa lol. I enjoyed your reaction how you were grooving out to the song up until you see the rope scene then your groove stopped lol. Good reaction.👍😎

What I got from it was that it was about black men rejecting 'The Draft' because of how they were being treated over the decades, and being locked up because of not accepting the draft papers and serving a country that hated them, then a prison breakout being planned and facilitated by Flava Flav and the S1W black militia.
