Until 1992 or so, every house song had a regular beat. Then in 1992 and afterward, more and more songs broke up that beat by a double beat every 4 beats: boom---boom---boom---boomboom (repeat). I utterly hate that, as it continually breaks up the trance. A state of trance is something that has to build up. The deeper the trance, the more intense I experience the music. In the deepest state of trance, sounds transform into all kinds of feelings and sensations, and can even become colors. Break the trance with the double beat every 4 beats, and the music experience stays shallow. This remix started great and then messed it up in the 2nd half.
