Sorry, I just don't know half of current lineup, really forgot about the band many years and lineups ago. Anyway it was fun to watch this gig, so thanks for sharing it!) lineup: John Lydon - After fronting the Sex Pistols, John Lydon formed Public Image Ltd in 1978. Outside of PiL John has released several solo records and collaborations. He also brings quality TV to the masses. Lu Edmonds - Multi instrumentalist and former guitarist in The Damned Lu joined PiL in 1986 recording and playing on the album Happy? and co-writing the album ‘9’ adding yet another dimension to the PiL sound. Bruce Smith - Former drummer in The Pop Group and The Slits became percussionist for PiL also in 1986 playing and recording on the albums Happy? and ‘9’. Seen as a drumming virtuoso, Bruce Smith brought his unique style into the fold. Scott Firth - A bass player/multi instrumentalist that has collaborated and played with a variety of top musicians and bands including Steve Winwood, John Martyn, Elvis Costello, and The Spice Girls. Scott’s arrival into the band in 2009 resulted in John Lydon declaring him “Genius at work!”

Easily the best PiL lineup since the early days of Levene and Wobble. John really shows how great a performer he can be with a great band backing him up.

Saw this tour a few years earlier, in the city I live in. It was a small club, we are all absolutely blown away, it was amazing! The intimacy, the power of the songs, truly amazing! Johnny even said it was the nicest club he had ever played in.

Best use of an electric saz (baglama) I've seen so far. Outside of Turkish music. This is not your dad's Baba Zula that's for sure. I'm sure there are a dozen things Lydon and PIL do that make western conservatives (music fans) squirm. Yet you can't deny the innovation that they always bring.

Thanks for the clarification, I saw them in 2010 at Coachella and I thought it was some kind of custom-made mandolin or a lute or something. He was totally awesome and everything, but I miss the guy from Magazine, too.

I love how Edmonds complements the music, the guitar is insane and for one represents international warriors as expressed in WARRIOR! He is the perfect atmospherist

it is. I'm a prog rocker and I love RUSH. PiL may not even be in my top ten bands list but I know gold when I see and hear it. This was gold.

I go back and watch this on a regular basis. Some songs, lyrics and singers remain contemporary in a societal sense.
