'I'm a public land hunter, you can't stop me.' "What you doing on my property?" clack-clack You would not believe how many these assholes we have to throw off private land.

@@MountainsoftheHeart Indeed my uncle was deeded a lot of land in northern Maine from my Grandfather. While the local Mi'kmaq and Algonquin (many of whom are our cousins) are allowed to hunt the property we are forever throwing others illegally hunting there off. Especially Old Order Amish, they think no ones laws but God's apply to them.

I didn't dropped my tree stand on a dude who was using it w/o, & I've Physically had to Track my Cameras down from some Stupid Townie who thought it was cool. I swear I have no idea who kicked their teeth/shit in, my new Cowboy boots have tread in them. No I burn my old clothes, & garbage. But I got my camera back. And that wasn't my Tomahawk that Split the straps on my Tree stand. Honest. But dude needs a lifeflite ride because I'm pretty sure it was a spinal injury... But he can keep my stand i no longer need it. 😅

Ive hunted public land for the last 4 years. I havent had any bad experiences yet. I did have a guy and his son out there during youth muzzle loader season that i thought were poaching but that was simply my own ignorance on the date. The young mans deer dropped 25 yards from my stand after id sat for about 3.5 hours so i just called it and met them down at the deer. Congratulated the young man on his first deer, he was 8 btw, and offered to help them drag it out to their boat. Turned into a good interaction

Be careful hunt the wrong guys stand thay might just track your steps back to your vehicle. You might have your vehicle on its roof when you come out. Or crushed by a winch cable. Would not matter if its legal or not im not sitting in someone else's stand that's just ignorant. My opinion. But that's why I use private land.👍

I own land and I hate public land hunters that trespass from the public lands behind me or even worse shooting into my property and dragging it to public lands. My neighbor had a black potbelly and a father and son shot it in front of them while eating dinner because from the public land you can’t see the house it just looks like a open space in the woods

I don’t feel like people should be putting up “leave behind” tree stands on public land. If you want to hunt public land, you should be carrying your chair or “climbing” tree stand in and out with you each day, or sit on a log or rock. Also dig a cat hole for your 💩. Leave no trace. Burry the entrails.

And have never been on a real hunt in their entire lives! They are just harvesting deer meat! They’ve never been out west they’ve never hiked over a mile. They’ve never seen an elevation gain in their lives nor have they carried an 800+ pound animal out of the woods for 10+ miles!
