Awesome video. Just moved to Michigan a few years back and haven’t had a chance to hunt out here. Grew up pheasant hunting on put and take farms. Gotta be so cool to hunt wild birds. Great content.

In Utah, that buck would qualify as a doe, or “antlerless” with how small his antlers were, but helluva shot. Spike elk rifle starts here in a month, so hopefully I can tag out on that and have some heart healthy meat for my freezer. Keep up the good work!

Another great video. I completely agree the weather this year was goofy to say the least. Leaves took forever to come down making a shot on grouse slim to none but pheasant season was good for us. Had a day with 19 flushes on wild birds with only 1 dog on the ground. I'm itching to get out for the late season

We use to lease 280 acres just south of your pheasant spot and 40 of it was crp .. had few pheasants even grouse or two.. there be a lot more pheasant but the locals just pounded the hens .. couldn't believe they shoot up the hens like that on private..

Have you been to the garden gems area.. we were hunting down the old rail road grade found old bell must of fallen off train when there was still tracks.. DNR has cleared bunch of land and planted trees around it . Thought it was for sharptails.. got ahold of sharptail association they had nothing going on with it.. they ended up tracking down answer from the DNR it's just a native grass project.. keep driving south thru the area past the oak trees can't miss it..
