Honourable Justice Katju: Thank you for delivering one of the most truthful and honest speeches ever. Development of India as projected by political masters is self serving charade.The plight of the poor and downtrodden is ignored. Opportunist politicians, corrupt bureaucrats and greedy big-business all are sucking blood of common man and getting fatter. You are 100% correct when you say that this can't continue for ever. As for the question asked by the gentleman at 50:00, the main problem in this area is corruption. Farmers don't get adequate prices of their produce because of faulty and corrupt system as well as because of middlemen. But now the measures are being taken and will be taken. As he said it will take time,it surely will.

there was a rumor that, if expenses to appoint more judges is 1000 crores, a 10000 crores is spent for not appointing judges which is resulting into shortage of judges across country. eventually people loses faith in judiciary and delivery of justice, so they goes to middlemen or mafia people with a hope of getting atleast relief of 50 % and remaining 50 % goes to middlemen and mafia.

Mr. Katju could nave done us all...especially, the Berkeley audience a big favor if he had kindly sent a two-line email about a limited prognosis about the future of India ACCORDING TO KATJU:):) ...I feel for Prof. Goldman -- for being disappointed by Katju's erroneous, eccentric and primarily dis-honest reading of facts and his inaccurate presentation, interpretations --- after making a laudatory introduction about the guest....Prof. had to ask - as a matter of fact - at the end of Katju's talk as to what were his views about the TOPIC at hand.

Sir,your assessment of India s situation is deliberately not fair.why didn't you mention that Congress party and its cabal of corrupt have been responsible for systemic corruption ... division s in society.?? Right from Nehru to Sonia,every Congress leader came to power on the back of creating deep divisions in majority...??Why didn't you mention that each govt scheme could not be implemented at ground level because of power brokers at every stage.India has been deliberately kept poor, because this poverty has been used as a vote bank.I deeply disagree with your talk.yes,India has been going through a change...but this change is coming because of govts welfare schemes reaching people.,under an honest efforts of Bjp.As I rememberight this ,2019elections saw another pro incumbency bring BJP back with a thumping..majority. .A churning did go on in India,but as you predicted,it's not bloody.Bjp wouldn't have got more than 50%of votes in16/29states,if minorities , majority,,...and people from all class and divides had not voted for it. Dear Mr,Katju - 1.No road map how India will reach to its best place post transition.2. Only examples of negative things of India.. eg. Farmers suicide , Prostitution, Attack on churches , No jobs for minority .. India is millions of farmers / churches and a case of one to two does not justify your argument of Feudal society...There are some different motives behind that and you have not discussed those motives and generalize your comment..3. You spoken about your patriotism thats wonderful but you have chosen to just speak about the all the negatives in India .. Will it solve the purpose ??? 4. You have given the simple logic of Gandhi as a part of British Agent but you have not studied his life the same way Bose.. ( very general in nature)... 5.
