This is a brilliant model, I love how it covers so much more of an individuals assessment, especially for Maori..

Clearly you didn't watch this talk which shows evidence to the contrary and is presented by someone who is an expert in this field.

Maybe I have completely missed the point but all I know is most Maori want the same service as pakeha. They would prefer medication for illness over a spiritual healer. I think these Maori health frameworks only apply to such a small minority of Maori populations. I apply the Hui Process everyday it seems. Despite what the scholars say, it is just building rapport and connection which almost every practitioner I know does to some extent. Until these Maori academics, Maori health authority go away, racism will always be alive.

You have completely missed the point. If your sense of legitimacy is challenged by the idea of Māori creating positive health outcomes for themselves instead of relying on a system which can't, maybe you are the issue.
@nostalgia93382 жыл бұрын
@@tairenner4732 No YOU are the issue. Plain and simple. Stop fuelling a racist ideology. There are so many Maoris, low GPA but getting accepted into PHD programmes because of their ethnicity. How are Maori health outcomes so radically different to the needs of say an Asian person?
