India in general and Nagaland in particular has a patrilineal society where the children take on the surname of the father. Children born to Naga women who are married to non locals should be stopped from taking their mothers surnames. These mofos will skew the entire community make up.

Every indigenous certificate holders cannot be qualified for ST certificate. So many children of non-naga fathers are holding nagaland govt service. What about their children when their grandfather is non- naga? They may be qualified for indigenous cert if their non-naga grandfather has been residing in Nagaland before 1963, but they can never be qualifief for obtaining ST certificate. Colony GB and council members should not give NOC to such individuals.

During 1970,80 lot of naga gal married non naga n they were given citizenship in the past decade....by the village council... Once i heard the news in some village in nagaland, Village (Head GB) cook the cat meat and giving the cat meat to non naga, n dat very non local eat the cat meat, from there onwards he got naga itizenship . Every tribes/village have their own traditional customary law and practices, let their own tribal hohos take the matters on dis... We can't neglect them after granting them citizens... After cut mark of 1963 lot of naga women married outsiders... Just my views...

Totally agreed on the part of protecting indigenous inhabitants of their culture,traditions ,practice and rights. I condemn any offsprings from Non Nagas married to Naga women and enjoying the rights of an Indigenous inhabitants, i know many individuals who have done this using the titles of a Naga mother, now in a much comfortable and top profession in an around Nagaland 😅. However i would beg to differ on the part of a Naga women, married to Non Nagas to stop them from issuing the IIC and off of their rights, one should understand we cannot strip off of one's caste, we are born with it. Nobody can disapprove the fact of their caste born with it . I think nobody can deny nor reject or withheld the rights of an indigenous people because of his or her marital status.
