I'm jealous of the good fishing right in town for you (Selig Drive bridge?). I've fished trout all my life out west and we have nothing like what you have - right in town to boot. If I could have grown up in a place like that I'd have been fishing every day. I'm going to work out some way to come to MIL and do some fishing following your directions this year, Have watched you for several years Great Job on teaching how you do it.

Looks like the Menomonee? Great the river restoration is paying off.

Good to see some of those chromers are still in those runs didn’t know if there’d be more left over because of how low the rivers got

The Piscifun Carbon X series is the reel to have. I used mine for the first time. Now i just need to get a Lamaglass rod to pair it with. They are pricey so it may take a while to get one.

Thanks for the great content! It’s interesting to see so many browns still in the tribs and harbor this ‘’late” - because they’re fall spawners, no?! Do you think they are hanging around to continue spawning in the relatively warm weather, or to munch steelhead spawn?

Is there a difference when using spawn bags with loose eggs or with eggs still attached to the membrane?
@EricPeterson-e5n10 ай бұрын
Hey Eric. I'm thinking of heading over to your area next week for a few days to do some urban fishing. I'm from Toledo. Should I expect mostly steelhead with maybe a brown or two?

Nice! Anyone know if the eggs and fry are actually surviving now on these tribes? I remember years ago when I lived in Milwaukee that they said the rivers don’t have good river bottom to support the eggs and fry. Just wondering if it has changed. I’ve been gone 8-9 years now.
@wibigfishcom11 ай бұрын
Very few survive depends on the river or creek though

Is the Sheboygan river all private access? Is that what you mean by private pass? You need permission from a landowner? Just curious, thanks for all your help.
@wibigfishcom11 ай бұрын
The top end is private but you can access through small creeks if you keep your feet wet the entire time
