@@HalendleofLoc That's exactly why I commented. You're not able to differentiate between personality analysis and public speaking skills. David only does the latter. That's kinda relatable for me. My voice isn't on corpse's level of deep. But deep enough to get a little bit of "simping" when I'm on the phone with people at work. Angry clients (especially women) usually calm down pretty quickly when they get transferred to me. But if they saw how short and skinny I really am, they'd probably keep right on yelling and cussing at me about whatever their issue was. 😅

Its funny that his voice is associated with so much authority since Corpse is such a shy and anxious person. He talks all the time about how nervous he is and how he's just waiting for his popularity to just die off. I think a lot of people are attracted to Corpse initially for the voice because it is a shock to hear such a low voice. But the people that stay do so because they realize he is such a sweet, wonderful, and relatable person. He's super supportive to his friends and he's very open about his mental and physical health. So to me, this makes him very endearing and trustworthy. Once you realize these things about him, then the voice just becomes a bonus.

I absolutely love you man. You have so much energy, so much knowledge, you're incredible. You're so genuine and kind, keep doing what you're doing man. You're the one who inspired me to take on acting as a full-time career, convincing me that public speaking, acting, singing, and so on was something I not only enjoyed but was something live and love. You're incredible, love you man. Edit: I love how you talk about people with a low register are naturally stronger and larger. I'm a bass (C2 without growl). I'm a guy, and I'm 5' 4" and am a literal twig

Greatly insightful! This made me realize why I tend to be able to keep people's attention well, I go up and down a lot with my voice depending on how I want to come across. Speaking slower with vocal fry is one of those I didn't realize I utilize in conversation.

Loved the video on Corpse Husband, he's become very popular and relatively quickly. From what I know he also seems to be very kind and genuine which just adds to his overall charm. His voice is so mesmerizing, really grabs the attention. Very nice that you also gave some of the other skills to show that everybody can sound authoritative, as I'm one of the many people who isn't blessed with a low register (soft voice and on the higher side). Also nice use of the Tokyo Ghoul OP (Unravel) in the outro!

Wow. Awesome analysis. What drew me to Corpse at first was the slow pace, calm yet decisive voice especially when he was playing the imposter. It was hard to tell when he was nervous, only if he said so. He didn't rush his speech when being called out and took control of the lobby with just his voice. This video was super informative and extremely interesting. The content keeps getting better 👏 There is so much variation and it actually helps in adjusting my way of thinking because I'm a heavy introvert with a unhealthy amount of social anxiety and I'm studying to become a teacher. Thanks for the great videos 👍💓

Hi David! I really like your videos, and i definietly learned a lot from you! A small remark i'd say: based on the title/previous videos i expected this to be a lot more about Corpse. The previous videos you made about pewds jack and others were less dry i would say, because it had more of analysing them and telling the story of the craft of voice and presentation through that. Other than that, great video! Keep going!

A big concentration on the voice of someone always makes me think about reviewing V-tubers for their public speaking ability, since their models only show a very limited amount of facial expression or general movement as a whole, or at least the most popular ones have very static aspects to carry their appearance. Would make for an interesting video. At any rate, another great video.
