Loreen is the rightful winner for me. As for Finland; it was paying, whoever wanted to put in the most money won the televote. An example: buddies of mine are all for Loreen but they don't want to give their money to it, those are people who didn't vote in the televote. The televote says something, but not everything. If that televote was free, all my buddies would have been voting for Loreen too.

Watching Käärijä's reaction was heartbreaking, he is the true winner with the most public votes EVER (excluding Ukraine last year which was great but got many votes because of solidarity too)! The Italian and Swedish preselections were inspirations for the concept of the contest and their entries mostly have high quality standards. It's understandable they get lots of jury points from a professional perspective. On the other hand there are countries that vote for each other every single year just for being friends or getting lots of points due to diaspora, and often borrow professionals from Sweden for writing their songs, composing, cheoreographies and stagings to increase their chances to win. Imo it's not fair to blame them just for getting recognition for being professionals.

Loreen did a great job, we can't deny that. However, the jury needs to stop manipulating the scores. Not only did they elevate Sweden so high that it was impossible to defeat them even with the maximum number of viewer votes, but they also intentionally underrated some countries, such as Norway and Ukraine, knowing that they would receive a lot of televotes.

Televote points can be easily manipulated too, some one who has a lot of money can just buy a bunch of sim cards and vote a couple of times for a country they like. A person can vote up to 10 times. It does not represent the actually opinion of general public who some of them do not want to spend money on voting for a song they like. Sweden and Finland both are good songs, acc to views in all platforms Sweden has more views. So we can clearly see that the televote was rigged. Juries gave the trophy to the country that actually deserved it. Juries were the voice of the public who did not pick up their phones to spend money and vote for a song. Liking a song doesn't mean spending money on it. Jurors are general public too, so take that into account. That is why Loreen deserved that victory more than anyone else.

The jury wanted an ABBA 50th anniversary celebration in Sweden. It's so obvious in how many countries gave full 12 points to Sweden in an effort to give them an unbeatable lead and succeed they did. I'm not mad that Sweden won, but I'm mad that they won with Loreen singing basically the same song as before, when there were so many more unique and inspiring performances this year to choose from. No way that song deserved so many top spots in the jury vote.

I can't help but think how awesome this year's finale would have been if Finland, the absolute and by far the biggest public favourite had won. Instead we watched a rather awkward moment with Loreen heading to her second victory while, at the same time, the crowd in the arena was shouting "cha cha cha ". I assume that EBU will take into consideration what happened this year and take action because it is quite inconsistent to call for massive participation in the televoting and then show to the public that their vote is pointless against the will of juries. Moreover I think we should also talk about the elephant in the room: it's the second time that Sweden gets the victory thanks to massive jury scores that outvoted the public vote (exact the same scenario took place in 2015). This country get almost always great support from the juries; it seems that they have secured a top ten spot in jury voting no matter what entry they send. In my view something is either fishy or wrong or it's not working as it should. I remember that juries were re-introduced because a bunch of countries was continuously being voted in top places no matter what they were sending. I am sure that EBU wants to safeguard the fairness of the result; therefore, they will take into account the record of the voting system in place.

Guy, please let me just disagree with you to this fact of the juries, because if they are excluded from the contest, the Eurovision will turn out from a song contest to just a feast, where the victory will not go to the most qualitative and exciting song, but to the most applauding and dancing one. I think the juries should not leave the contest, but I would even add them again to the semifinals as well. They keep the contest at a particular competitive level, which is worthy of the contest not leading trashy and trolling.❤

@@_enl The fact that you consider "qualitative and exciting" and "most applauding and dancing" mutually exclusive shows bias. What are the criteria here and why? Who gets to define what a good song is and why? If a song that gets the whole audience partying and singing along isn't the most "exciting" of the year then what is? Like I'm sorry but there's just something really conservative and snobby about implying that songs that get people dancing are somehow worth less.

@@homer_sexual My whole point is that if you ask what song gets you more exciting and more enganged in the whole process of making, I would probably been considering this year's Swedish Entry. Käärijä's song is very great, but it is as though this song was made just for being an entrant for a party event and not a competition that would be all the way just supporting musical quality. Quality for me means totally nothing other than high-intellect, whci from my point of view Loreen first seems to be more aware than Käärijä, but even if you don't think Loreen's entry was great, I would say that if Finland try to send another song other year, by the same artist, he would get as much points as he would deserved. I supported both the Finnosh and the Swedish entry, but there is a lot more difference between hearing melody over a song - Sweden - and just sirens repeatedly over a tempo - Finland. I am sorry.😜😋😍

@@_enl I would like to note that I didn't mention anything about excluding the juries in my comment. In fact, I am not even sure what would be the best system, although I disagree completely with the stereotype that you are implying (public vote = trash and jury vote =quality). I just pointed out two things that, in my humble opinion, the organizers should think very carefully: that the current system (especially when the result is like this year) may discourage people from voting. Why would I even bother to pay some money and vote, when juries are the ones that decide the winner in the end? Also the observation about Sweden is something that has to been taken into consideration. It doesn't sound very effective that the same country tops the jury votes every year and I am quite sure that many people have the same question as I do.

Finland was clearly the peoples champ. I listen to Cha Cha Cha minimum 3-4 times daily. As original and as a cover from Lord of the Lost. I knew it will be hard for Finland to reach Loreen after the Jury Votes but we have to say, Loreen didn't win that clear. Good morning and now time to listen Cha Cha Cha twice
