Started playing wow when HC was booming. Though priest and shadow priest were so cool, but as you may well know... pretty trash in classic. I NEVER thought I would even try Retail because it looked so complicated for a newer player. Thanks to your videos, icy veins guide, breakdowns of your gameplay etc. I've been able to pick up retail, obtain AOTC, and push all 10 keys all on voidweaver. Thank you for all the effort you put into your community!

spriest is in a weird spot for me. I strongly prefer the voidweaver hero talent tree, but I love void eruption. There is nothing wrong with DA but it is just kinda boring

There’s a lot wrong with DA when you have to pick it over void eruption imo 😂 I love shadow but I refuse to play DA

Ya DA is ass and should be removed. Void eruption should be a choice node with a different version of void eruption that is shorter CD and shorter duration or something

I've seen some priests on twitch pulling excellent numbers playing voidweaver with void eruption. :)

@@djnatZOMG the issue isn't that it's bad, it's that it's not smooth to play, u use void torrent to get a bolt-type gameplay (void bolt) but then u press void eruption to get another bolt-type gameplay? in BFA ur goal was to keep as much uptime on voidform as possible and now it's just weird

Devour Matter is also really good for Tred'ova (last boss in mists) getting out of that high dmg phase quicker in high keys is invaluable.

Always video on top godfather of sp i just wanted to say that im playing voidweaver since week 1 and im not enjoying archon i kept experiencing VW and i pushed to 2k7 in m+ and feel like its really competitive if you dont mess up with rotation, also the key to make it works is the Talent in hero talent ''Darkening Horizon''

With all of the bugs with Darkening Horizon and the recent changes I haven't seen any numerical evidence on any target count that it every makes sense over Void Empowerment

@@Publikwow but the thing is i tested and i can confirm i can throw two more void blast without two first one and sometimes 5 i really feel like it works and you can see timer getting sec added

Yes the talent works but it has bugs. And even when it works perfectly it doesn’t perform better

Should I spread devouring plague on more enemy's or focus on 1 enemy that this one is constant buffed with devouring plague?

Do you stack devouring plague on 1 mob or spread it to be one on each mob ?

‘Dotting some up and letting SC do the rest’ is it right then for me to assume that SC prioritizes non-dotted targets to apply dots to rather than randomly picking and refreshing some of the existing dots in an 8+ pack?

The dmg meter is a bit misleading. Im 616 and run +8-10 keys and on bosses yeah Im at top 99% of the time but in packs im at best 2nd in a geared group. Edit: two trinkets for people that may have terrible luck like me that work super well are the haste candle and the shadow blade that siphons secondaries from delves: they are very good. I do not recommend transmitter as you may very well just get boned on placement of the pad or orb.

hey bud great content as always. i been doing 10 keys i found 2 points in screaming of the void and 1 points in mastermind have been pretty good and my overall damage is abit higher with that build instead. let me know what you think . thanks!

If you are struggling a bit more with the rotation or if packs aren’t living long enough I could see it but truthfully in sims that change would be 1-2% difference at most and not something you would really notice

Is the Silence cooldown reduction talent ever a consideration for that last talent point, or is that just too much damage loss? A 45 second interrupt just feels really really slow to get back.

Each extra point is 1-2% DPS loss. So we already take one hit so getting the second one would be 2-4% total. 45 seconds is slow, but 30 seconds is still slow and most melee kicks being 24 seconds mean it still isnt "equal" and not worth the dps loss.

What is it with the priority Target as SP? I unterstand the DOT part but why do i have to stick to a prio Target after that for dmg?

Because Insanity is a limited resource we funnel onto a priority target to ensure we have maximum uptime on Devouring Plague for full Mastery activation. Since this spell and most others in our kit cleave off Psychic Link we want this bonus to apply to all of these hits. Furthermore since Devouring Plague rolls its damage over if its already active we do not loose damage by re-applying instead of spreading with the current talent build.

I only did one key as VW to try it but but I really didnt like it. I already dislike DA as a cooldown (void form is just infinitely cooler) and this whole CD desyncing in dungeons is annoying to deal with. Like when torrent comes back at the end of a pull so you walk to the next one and now you either delay that af or DA. Walking void torrent is neat-o tho :D

Spymasters being so good is painful, hasn't dropped once in raid and so far nothing in my vault. Wish it was closer to the other trinkets so it doesn't feel so awkward not to have it. Tried to sim and it was something like 60-70k dps for me right now (running ritual knife/empowering crystal as I don't have a myth trinket) When I saw trinket balance at start of the season I was sure it was going to be nerfed in line. But seems specs other than spriest/arcane don't gain nearly as much vs other trinkets

Unfortunately voidweaver is too constrained on talent points in the bottom section and currently has low interactions with shadowy apparitions so it just doesn’t make sense

Maybe try to turn on shadow form, that's just not possible to get 300k dps only, i mean depends on boss but u should have like 800k+ on ST bosses and 1m+ on silken court

@@Giliver My logs on heroic so far: Ulgrax: 705k (aoe on this boss is kinda meh, adds way too spreaded) The Bloodhound Horror: 886k (This one is kinda easy, void torrent really helps with mobility here) Sikran: 870k (practicly ST dummy target) Rashna'nan: 753k (Bit chaotic fight, but classes with good aoe will outdps u here) Ovinax: 1,030M (Probably second best fight for u) Ky'veza: 761k (really annoying fight, need to be smart to use ur defensives correctly + do mechanics first that will cost u some dps or u die like me, when i forget to press potion or healthstones) Silken Court: 1,016M (Second best fight probably, lot of movement and mechanics, but when u have dots on both bosses u can easly go to 1M dps or over) Queen Ansurek: Still progressing xd If u want to see my gear or something like that u can check my discord, i got same name on discord, i am not defenitly that good like Publik xd i would say i am average PS: my ilvl rn is like 614 or 615 (depends on what trinket i am currently using)

One thing I hate about void weaver is when i'm casting one last void blast and the game cancels my cast cause the black whole has imploded. Not a haste problem I guess, it still fails at 32% haste.

If you queue the action it should never cancel your cast unless you have some weird macro setup

@@Publikwow here where Darkening Horizon come up it never cancel just try it and let me know in comments because i believe it's really getting the full value of it and sometimes the icone is mind blast but the cast is Void blast because last cast with hero talent saved it for you that's why i said sometimes it caqt 4-5 void blast in single void torrent

I am not a fan of either Shadow priest build in TWW. I loved shadow priest in DF and played it a ton. Voidweaver feels clunky as hell. Dark ascension is awful. Archon on the other hand floods you with too much to press. Both feel bad in different ways. Also, could they have picked a more lame spell to center a hero talent on than halo? Sheesh

ye shadowpriest except you are playing you own keys or in a grp you kinda trolling even playing the spec.. single target is solid but in a geared grp of pugs you are kinda irrelevant

Shadowpriest is doing fine. The damage just isn't bursty. If you can't be competitive in aoe you are either doing something wrong or you run low keys overgeard and everything dies to fast.
