Publish A React App To GitHub Pages - Less Than 3 Minutes

I made this cryptocurrency app in React JS just a few days ago and I thought it would be fun to publish it to github pages fo I can access it from my phone or anywhere else. Make sure to go to settings, pages, then change the branch from main to gh_pages and press save.

In your GitHub repo, go to Settings, and then select Pages. Under Build and deployment, change the Branch from Main to gh-pages. It takes about 5-min after that and then you should see your deployed website.

@@user-jt6ec4rq4y Yes! I don't remember exactly what the issue was, but as a first step, make sure to select gh-pages in the Deployment setup on GitHub when ready to deploy.

my issue was that my build was located in a folder called "dist" not "build". Updating the build path in package.json fixed it.

Still i can't get a clear solution to how you'd update the deployed site, if you tried to push code to github or even rebuild again with deploy it won't work you'll still have the old version
