If you just want to publish on Google Play as an eBook, you don't actually need one! You can let Google handle all that for you. But as I say in the video, you might well want to use one. Where you get them will depend on where you're from, since each country handles them differently. I plan to do a video on this sooner or later, but here's a very quick introduction: In the UK, you go via Nielson (www.nielsenisbnstore.com/Home/Isbn) and the US uses Bowker (www.isbn.org/). In Canada you can get them free (library-archives.canada.ca/eng/services/publishers/isbn/Pages/isbn.aspx), and honestly I don't know about the rest of the world. Your best bet is to seach for how to get an ISBN in your own country, and check for advice from other authors there. Good luck!

You certainly can, since there is no minimum length requirement. However people are getting used to seeing whole novels for very low prices, so a single story would be very hard to sell.

Sorry for the delay in replying - KZbin didn't tell me anyone had commented! I'm not sure I know what you're asking for, exactly - do you mean how do you upload an anthology you've edited? If so, the process will be the same, but it'll be more complicated if everyone wants to see the sales statistics. You can't really have a shared account for all the users, the editor / publisher will have to own the Google account, I think.

I have! I'm mostly advertising to point people at Amazon (since that's the largest retailer) but people do seek out the books on other platforms too. That's why I feel it's important not to limit yourself to a single book seller.
