Long time lurker. You remind me of my favorite cousin. She was a single Mom with a wonderful, acerbic sarcasm and a positive-attitude-through-gritted-teeth very similar to yours. Potato will feel better soon as Meaty Mama takes good care of her. I remember I wanted to move on my 18th birthday to my own apartment, half way thru senior year of high school, but tonsils had to come out. My Mom took care of me, and I was glad I was still living at home for a few months.

I’ve used old baby cloth diapers for wiping my nose. They are so much better than tissue! You figure facial tissue is made up of wood pulp and the reason why your nose turns red. Because you’re rubbing wood splinters over your nose! Ahhhh!

MM...love when your son gets on camera. We have one similar but higher functioning - the moods & anger WOW..esp if not taking meds. I get it, but my grandson isn't able to show affection. Stay strong...former single Mom, too. Mr. Right did come along...ya never know. He passed away - but got 35 GOOD years. Hope same for you..I wasn't looking! ❤

The clothes I use are called Mr.Siga microfiber clothes. I like them because they come in different colors. So you can assign colors for specific things like boogy rags.

Potato soup hack: I like to use all milk instead of water with canned condensed potato soup and add a can of diced potatoes to make it extra chunky. Add a little Worcestershire and some seasonings and top with shredded cheese and crispy bacon. Pure comfort food! So sorry that Potato is not well. 🤧 Hope she feels better soon and that you and Aiden won’t get it. Tissue blankets 😂😂😂I’m dyin’!

I don't understand why groceries are so expensive in Florida. Bob Evans mac & cheese here in Houston is $4.66 (although I usually buy Kraft cook it yourself mac & cheese for $1.29/box). Dye-free children's Motrin is $7.26. A pack of 18 organic, grade A, cage free eggs is $9.61. Even free-range eggs are cheaper at $11.49. I have sticker shock every time I go to Publix in Fort Myers.
