Star I ran to Publix this morning when I saw that 8.00 coupon I was there at 7:05am I did that transaction four times different accounts. The package also had two dollar coupons off. I paid $.98 for two packs of diapers altogether I purchased eight packs I gave it all to my niece That’s having a baby in December

I did the Old Spice deal this morning. Just wanted to post what I got and how it worked for me in case anyone else needed the info. So I got: 2x of the 24oz body wash (krakengard & nightpanther) 3x of the large 27oz pumps (swagger) 2x the Gentleman’s deodorant (blue agave & Himalayan sea salt) *this was the only deodorant Ibotta would scan for. When I first tried without the 3rd pump my total was going to be $24 ($19 w/out tax so I was going to add a $4 deodorant like someone else commented but it still didn’t help for that last $5 dq. So the cashier told me to add the 3rd pump and when we did my total went down to $19.59 ($15.83 w/out tax) The 3 promos of $5 off when you $15 came off 3x The $10 wys $40 P&G came off Both $5/3 dq came off The $5 wyb 3 promo came off The $2 wyb 2 (total $6) LU# came off I paid $15.83 plus tax =$19.59 My original total would have been $61.83 plus tax Submitted to Ibotta and got back $16 Submitted to shopping spree and got the $10 wys $50 So my net before taxes ended up being -$10.17 MM *note, my store manager WAS NOT happy about using the LU# and I could hear him chewing out the cashier for it. Said something about not letting customers use that along with coupons 🤷‍♀️ I’ve never used an LU# before so not sure him saying that was policy or not. Just mentioning it here. Hope this helps someone bc my brain was mush trying to make sure I did this right 😂 Thanks Star and hope everyone scores 🙌 ❤️

Ooof that’s frustrating 😢 I’m sorry. Shopping spree gave me credit of +61.83. I’m not sure why they didn’t give you the full amount? Is there someone you could contact to ask? I thought we were supposed to get the amount before coupons and promos. I just joined last month so I’m not 100% sure on the different rules and such but after watching others post about their deals I’m thinking you should have gotten the full amount back.

@@ann35211able - that’s what I was thinking as well so not sure if he was just blowing steam. Does that apply to using the LU# as well? I never saw that promo advertised in my store and it wasn’t in our store flier ($2 off 2.) When I asked him if I could use that #, he looked it up on his handheld device and said if it’s available that I could use it. Then I showed him a SS of the dates that were on that promo (I took a SS off of Stars video but enlarged it so only that photo with the info showed) so he said ok. He didn’t know I was going to do this deal so wondering if he knew would he have been able to tell me no 🤷‍♀️ I wish I would’ve just asked the cashier instead of a manager. I was worried that she may not have known what I was talking about and I didn’t want to draw attention. However, she did know about using LU’s and when he saw me checking out he came over 🤦‍♀️

I did a version of the Old Spice today. I got 4 of gentleman’s deodorant at $8.99 each and 2 of body wash at $7.99 each. I used 3 of the paper Publix coupons. The $15 ($5 for each $15 spent) came off. 2 of the $5/3 digital came off but the $10/$40 did not. I got back $12 on Ibotta and submitted for $10 on Shopping Spree. It was still a small money maker and I am very happy with the purchase. But I’m wondering what other deal would be good for the $10/$40 that is still on my account.

I added a few dry spray deodorant to get the $4/2 dry spray coupon and also increased total to over 80 by changing products around. That got x5 $5/15 to come off, the $10/40, and both $5/3. Not quite a moneymaker but around $2 and I got 4 deodorant and 6 body wash (2 deodorant were the aluminum free which is all we use and really needed and are expensive). So really good for my house and have 2 dry spray to donate

Can you type in the LU# at self checkout or does the cashier have to do it? I know in MN at the local HYVee we can type in store coupon codes at the self checkout without a cashier assisting. Type it in at self checkout. You just click the lookup item button on the screen that is used to lookup vegetables enter the number in there. It will ask you to insert a coupon so clip 3 random coupons from the sales flyer and insert them.
