4:58 Completely unrelated but why did they make Rina’s death look so depressing? You can see her companions try and pick her up only to fall lifeless to the ground. Does that mean Rina supplies them with energy or is she subconsciously controlling them with her mind? If it’s the latter that’d be kinda wild. It’s like Rina’s own body is dead but her mind is trying to use the Bangboos to pick her body back up only to shut down shortly after as if she went brain dead😨

@@Ateaotoko She DOES control them subconsciously. It wouldn’t make sense for them to stop working when she dies if they weren’t connected to her life. They are Bangboo by design but they aren’t completely independent like Eous. Seeing as how she conducts electricity through them while she’s attacking and the fact that they lose power when she dies, she must definitely be connected to them somehow. I also read somewhere that the companions sometimes say what she’s thinking in her head

@@Efosu33 I would assume she controls them much like a puppeteer controls puppets, given the way she moves her hands. The companions don't say out Rina's thoughts, it's only one of them and that's not bc she can read her mind or anything, through friendship levels you find out one of the two bangboos, Drusilla has been Rina's companion since she was young so it knows the way she thinks, eg in the tower cutscene, Drusilla says "you were way off" to Anby. The bangboos aren't controlled by her mind, they have their own intelligence
