Did you remember to put the very thin sims on the camshaft before butting the bearings on?
@fiftynineridge4 жыл бұрын
Kevin Rahbek I didn’t explain it in this video but I did i the same way as in my Sachs video kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6KueHRonpeXrLc It is not the same shims to be used when exchanging bearings so it has to be measured exactly.

can i swap my speedfight 2 50cc with speedfight 100cc engine without any big modifcations?
@fiftynineridge4 жыл бұрын
Guess you're placed a comment in the wrong video. I can't really answer it either. The engine cases are quite different and the internal components are not interchangeable in the 50cc and 100 cc so I guess it is not an easy swap to put a 100cc in an 50cc frame.

How much oil did you put back in the transmission?
@fiftynineridge3 жыл бұрын
The bottom bolt of the 2 closest to the cylinder is also the oil level check, it is around 300ml of oil in the engine when it pours out from that hole.

Do you need to time the engine when rebuilding?
@fiftynineridge3 жыл бұрын
Yes, the ignition has to be set every time you take it apart, but I always run the ignition in full advance so there is really no issue. Makes it possible more difficult to start but you benefit in midrange rpm. That is on untuned or slightly tuned cylinders. High performance setups with 74cc is a different topic. Then I always run HPI 210 and that has to be timed with an micrometer indicator at TDC.
