She was in Kingston for a pre- worlds game vs Canada in March

I’ll remind her, she probably didn’t know North American cities that well, but that’s close to Ottawa obviously! kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYu9iZWlbsekaqcsi=FNoYYSC2mpJRNyIW

Fantastic video! have to say I think she's the player I'm most excited to hit the ice I can hardly wait - she actually exactly what the team needed so it's going to be great. Anxious to for her to get signed.. know she's be a fan favorite too. Props to hear as well for talking about her ADHL like that.. I have it too so know what a daily struggle it can be. Fantastic it's great to actually get introduced to the new players like this. Helping build the excitement for the new year!!!

So glad you liked it. She's one of my favorites, too, so open and honest and her play style is fun to watch too! Make sure you say RRRRRRrrrrrrooonnnjjjaa

Honestly interesting interview, I think it's brave of her to make the decision to play somewhere new and take on that new challenge. Can't wait to see her play on Ottawa. When does the PWHL Season start out?

It really is. I give all props and love to anyone who has the courage to make a big move like this. She's a great player and I know she will be a fan favorite. We don't know the schedule, but looks like late November is the start.

AND.. Maybe consider getting Gwyneth Philips on? From everything I've seen of her personality she'd be a great interview.

No doubt she will, like Sarah Fillier it's a question of term, 2 years vs 3 years. At the end of 2025-2026 season, lots of original contracts expire which will mean lots if money available for free agency and re-negociations

@@jeanlanglois7892 True, does not mean like the waiting. I think Ottawa this year won't be fun to play againt

I wish they would announce the date for the start of the new season. At least that way I'd have something concrete to count the days until.
@gamedayhockeyАй бұрын
@@Daemonkryn True, but you can pretty much look at U.S. Thanksgiving, training camps open Nov. 12, so you’d guess a week to ten days for camp/exhibition games
@leecox6241Ай бұрын
@@Daemonkryn Well, training camp ends at the end of November. So first the week of December on is likely. Now I have seen a schedule for three games a day starting the first Monday of December. Trouble is they are likely exhibition games and I am uncertain if they are open to the public. Someone else on here may know.

I could not help but compare Ronja’s shoulders to yours! Excellent visual of what others will see on the sheet heading for them! 😂
@gamedayhockeyАй бұрын
@@leecox6241 oh boy, don’t do that 😂 the angle is different but yes, I am small and Ronja is about 5’ 10” - I’m sure you’ve seen her in photos next to Noora. I am about 5’ 6”, Noora is 5’ 4” but muscular!
@leecox6241Ай бұрын
Of course it was an unfair comparison to both of you! Sorry about that! 😢 Just goes to show how the camera lies! Ronja just looks soooo statuesque in a “ I wouldn’t want to meet her in the corners“ kind of way! 😮 ( I should talk - I am a whopping 63” 😂)

Nice interview! Now we can put a person to the name we have heard so much about! I was pleased for her, to learn her partner will be in Montréal. Montreal to Ottawa is such a lovely and routine commute. Those of us who make it will have to keep our eyes peeled while on the highway to see who is driving beside us! 😊 I snorted out loud when she was speaking about former fellow teammates being on opposing teams: « Oh we will just have to give them a little hit.” 😂 Thank you so much for this interview as it was reassuring she was really coming and that other hockey stuff was delaying her signing. She is one busy lady! 😊
