Great vid! I love the fretting idea (mine, so far, have been fully fretted or fully unfretted). I was asked to do a little workshop at the library. They want to build basic 1-string "canjos" and Diddley Bows. This fretting system would be ideal, I think? It seems like, with just 1 string and the pentatonic scale, it would be really easy to learn to plunk out some basic blues riffs. What do you think? Just cut them for 2,3,5,6,7, 10 and 12? Let the attendees install the frets and dress them? Neat guitar!

Del ,,,, you are one crazy guy ! But l love you videos, keep them coming, can't wait for your next blues vid with songs, imade a cbg a few years ago, but not played it much, I surprised myself on how good it turned out, maybe I'll try a blues cbg next , any idea where to find a blues scale for the neck, keep on strumming fella, Steve from Liverpool England.

I love it Brother, Thank You. When you first try something you never had before it feels like a new toy or my wife Pat said put it above the mantle with your Vietnam K-Bar, your M1 A1, and your Colt 45. I said can I at least play one song like Del did. Only if you don’t screw it up. I did the. Do Re Mi Fa So La Te Do Not perfect but I’m a work in progress.

Really cooool neck: a very deep cyan thing. Kinda wished the body matched the neck. Then you'd have a "Blue Man" guitar, which you could present to the Blue Man Group if they ever hit New Mexico in the future. Always love to see the shop critters.

Nitrile gloves. I used to be like that, but now all finishes require gloves. 50 count for a few bucks at the old Harbor Freight.

I am three days into this rabbit hole. Where do you suggest getting a torsion bar for a bit longer lasting CBG? I’ve heard that over time, without it, the necks become worthless.
