Pudding or Tart? A Beautiful Derbyshire Village and Resting Place Of A Cursed Kennedy

After the initial debacle of trying to upload this video I have finally managed to re-edited this time including the missing parts!
A day of multi-tasking, after a meeting a business client in Bakewell I take you for a walk with me around this lovely Derbyshire town famous for its pudding.
On my way home I make a quick stop off at Edensor Village part of the Chatsworth estate. A small village with a wealth of history from the famous gardener and architect Joseph Paxton to the final resting place of Kathleen Kennedy the sister of the US President JFK.

Bakewell is a lovely day out and we often visit when in the area with our touring caravan. You have expensive taste like me for Fairfax and favor, I recently had a pair of gold brancasters then just happened to fall into my shopping basket ! I daren't go to the shop as my other half would have a heart attack lol

I had literally just put Bakewell Tarts (Asda - not originals!) on my Monday morning shopping list before this video appeared ... lol ... Love that area, I try to go to Matlock at least once and year and often pass through Bakewell, usually stopping, on my way in or out depending on my route. A very enjoyable watch, the piece about Edensor was very interesting too ... good work !

Morning Becky ….Im beginning to feel a bit like part of your family….having spent an hour or so watching your brother this morning…… I’m retired and knackered so I can afford to be lazy for a morning 😂 I loved your video, it took me back 20 years or so when I visited Derbyshire, we hired a little cottage and found Bakewell when there was a festival on, it was great fun…..We met a group called “Boy on a Dolphin “ headed by John Reilly who is a fantastic singer/songwriter…we had a great time dancing to this funky group and my then partner got extremely drunk in the pub afterwards!!! You might know that group as you come from Sheffield? Thanks for taking me back there! I was also interested in the Kennedy bit as I’ve read a bit about her and the way her father was horrible to her….you saying about the grave being unassuming…..my daughter worked in Arlington a few years ago and we visited the famous graves of soldiers, we were surprised at President Kennedys resting place , very unassuming too,I think the candle/light/fire is always on but other than that you would probably walk straight passed! What a treat to see the little village too…. Thanks it was lovely to have a coffee with you 😂 Take care
