Poor guy just wants to give Crouch his meat. He is justifiably proud of the love his meat carries. It is both a hobby and a passion. The law about drinking in sight of the pitch is a term of the license from the authorities for designated sporting events. You may not be likely to become intoxicated during a game and then become violent. But, sadly many will. Especially if the outcome of the game or a certain decision goes against you. The danger here is that if allowed, You could stack your drinks and then be so drunk that you become a danger to yourself and others. If you were to use a periscope to watch the game while drinking, you are in fact in breach of the ground regulations and could be justifiably ejected and banned from attending in the future. You cannot drink alcohol in view of the pitch while the game is underway. The rules are objective for a reason and any subjective view held by yourself as to how to circumvent them would be seen as flagrant disregard by yourself for the safety of others. All grounds require a safety certificate which is administered by the local authority. If you do anything to breach the terms of this certificate you will be ejected under a section 20. There is no legal comeback for this. Everyone should read the ground regulations which should be posted near to the entry points of every ground that is required to obey them. The observation of the ground regulations is a condition of entry. Say Hi to Sidders for me. I haven’t forgotten what he did for us during the 106 season. He was streets and yards ahead of most of the players in our division, and yet never once behaved like he was.
