I've had to deal with crooked concrete too. The easiest way I've found is a bunch of junkyard scissor jacks. The beauty is they are cheap and fully adjustable. Regardless, you got it done. Nice work!

"Connect the Dots....un" Good name for the truck.....if a bit long! Man, that was just as entertaining as watching a "will it run" revival.....but better in the fact I learned a thing or two - including a couple of new phrases! You didn't let your personality and sense of humour through in your early channel fabrication videos. Don't get me wrong -they're still good to watch (and I have watched and enjoyed them all) but the delivery of the content was a lot more serious. Now that you are in your zone and confident in your own style of delivery as well as your ability, your fabrication videos are in a class of their own. So go ahead - mix it up how you want. It's your channel, buddy. Your unique style and the way you get things done is what keeps the true fans happy. ....and by the way - we all look back at things we did when we were 18 and shudder! Not all of us have access to the cars we had back then, but I can think of a few things that successive owners will have been saying about some of the things I did to cars back then too! As you say - we were learning.....and if it worked, we went with it. That's the way to go for sure. Just keep doing what you're doing, man. You'll be fine.....and so will the channel's membership.

First, you are a sheet-metal man. Your welds look like they penetrate deep and are beautiful to look at. I have a question for anyone who cares to answer; cordless 20 V Dewalt 4 1/2 angle grinder or German-made Metabo corded grinder? Which one would you buy not counting the price?

I am working on a car that I built in high school 45 years a go. I drove it as a daily driver for a while. I didn't realize how bad my work was back then. My fab work today all started back then. I build show quality stuff now. Thats why I'm redoing this car now. It was so bad I couldn't sell it for fear my name would still be attached to it. I't mine forever I guess. Good luck fixing yours.

Thank goodness you aint another Volks wagon king...wonder what the dislikes are representing? Do they not like Datsun z? Orrrr is it some thing more personal??? I persinally liked the International find a Thermoquad carb for that thing you will be amazed at how well they work. Assuming i you find one in good shape ...
