One of my favorite things about Puddin's channel, (and Mortske for that matter), is that they admit and show their mistakes and do not edit them out and act like they don't make bad mistakes. It makes for relatable channel content. Real is the deal. Puddin is real.

Puddin's channell changed my life, I'm a older car guy that stopped working on cars. I started off buying some new air tools, I watched what main tools Puddin uses. My first project is a HHR. I just finished it and it's better than a brand new car. It was alot of fun and I feel good about it. Thanks Puddin for getting my ass off the couch ! Just a little comment, on my previous model a builds I would cut the rear fender well and add a strip to kind of forming a mini tub. Otherwise when setting up the car in a lowered position the tires will rub on the backside. Check out the firewalls from Direct Sheetmetal it will give you a starting point for what you need, weather you make the modifications or purchase one. Keep the videos coming

If you want a 283 with side mounts they are cast in after 1958 until they stopped production in 1967. But I'd go with any small block I could find and add the script valve covers for the "look."

Hey Puddin', I bought a fairly good '32 5 window Coupe. When I started getting in to it the wiring, suspension, brakes, engine and everything else had been thrown together. Hot Rod was the only way to go. It took about fourteen years off and on but now she's all done we are having fun. I had guys telling me I ruined a good car but we don't worry about them. Me and my family are enjoying driving the hell out of it. All the best from England.

Weld a piece of flat metal to the cut off ends of the crossmember and make it long enough to hang down below, then figure out where that cut off piece needs to go and weld it to the flat piece that hangs down, and add gussets between the flat pieces and tubing. That is what I had expected you to do, but maybe there are reasons that wouldn't work?

I say allow because you know he is capable and willing. I think this is the build that Pudding makes/makes Pudding. Do not fret about "purists", hot-rodding was never meant for the faint of heart. Hot-rodding was intended for individuals, you cant make mistakes in purpose of your wants. I am so very excited to see this happen. Good on you for the courage and ability. Keep on with your dreams.
