It's that yes. Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, etc. They were in WCW for more than 5 years without having opportunities, yes, they won the WCW United States Championship, the WCW Tag Team Championship, the WCW Cruiserweight Championship or the WCW Television Championship but not the WCW World Championship. Eddie Guerrero in 1998 made a PipeBomb to Eric Bischoff for not having a push to the stellar plans, in 1999 Rey Mysterio lost his mask to The Outsiders Scott Hall and Kevin Nash in WCW SuperBrawl 1999, in July Chris Jericho was furious with WCW because the Management was unwilling to give a world title shot and was so furious about it to the point where he took a banner that said "WCW Monday Nitro" and ripped it piece by piece and yelled "I QUIT!" and went to WWE in August 1999, and Chris Benoit threatened Eric Bischoff, Vince Russo and WCW managers with going to WWE if they didn't give him a push, though he eventually won the WCW Championship at WCW Souled Out in 2000, but only that they gave him that push out of obligation and not out of justice, since a day later he vacated it and went to WWE with Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn to form the Radicalz. And that was one of the biggest mistakes WCW has made during its existence. Since in WCW it has the same super stars as always, starring in all the Pay Per View or Weekly Shows like Nitro or Thunder, always Main Eventers like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, etc. And people like Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, etc. They stayed there in the middle or low planes without receiving a starting opportunity for the WCW World Championship. But when they went to WWE it was VERY the other way around, only Chris Benoit had been in WWE for 6 months and was already starring in a stellar match for the WWE Championship against The Rock in WWE Fully Loaded 2000, and in WWE Vengeance 2001 Chris Jericho won the WWE Championship and the WCW Championship against Stone Cold and The Rock becoming the Undisputed Champion. In WWE they saw the talent of these wrestlers and decided to give them a push and give them a starting opportunity, something that WCW never did due to the backstage influences of Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, etc. and that's why WCW went bankrupt and was bought by WWE on March 26, 2001.
