I always enjoyed his voice and expressiveness in the produced stuff, but didn't become a completely addicted fan until I started watching the audience footage. His skill as an entertainer is incredible.

I found my Dancing Queen in 1967 while in Viet Nam. On leave that year, I stopped at her home up north, she met me at the airport, no words, just a look, a smile, then that kiss. Welcome home. Only intending to stay for a few days, I was there for two weeks and brought her home with me to Texas. My Dancing Queen. She was with me for two more weeks before I went back to Viet Nam. When finished with the war, surviving several wounds, I went to her and brought her home forever. Abba came out with this song which became one of our favorites. I told her they must have heard me calling her my little Dancing Queen, my love. But then, on New Years Eve of 79, on the way home from a friends party, it all came to an end. I survived once more. I am 70 now, with only one Dancing Queen in my heart, still, after all this time. Puddles, you have made me smile once more. Thank you.

Thank you Puddles for sending me back to a much happier time in my life.

I first saw Puddles when his first AGT audition happened to appear a short time after it aired on TV. I don't watch AGT but was very impressed with his audition. It's ingenious that he always appears with his suitcase so it's impossible to forget his name. Like many others, I started to look at his videos and wasn't able to stop until I saw just about everything. I'm not sticking with Puddles because of anything that did or didn't happen on that show. I was very disappointed that Puddles wasn't able to express his complex talent appropriately because of the manipulative format of that show. I wish he'd been able to leave more on his own terms and not because of the manipulation which obviously occurred but I'm very grateful that I "discovered" him, no matter how. I believe that he certainly could and should have won if his talent had been allowed to be expressed appropriately and fairly.

Wanting to say something significant that might live up to Puddles artistry but doubt I can come close. Forget the artistry of the imagery, which it is fantasist in it's own right, and I DO like it. Just close your eyes and listen to the performance! The interpretation of these well known songs on its own is brilliant and amazing and brings something more, fresh, and different to the music. Then add that voice - GREAT voice! I wish I could say it better but to get to the point, Puddles is outstanding, simply out F 'in standing! I will be listening to more! Thank you sir! THANK YOU!
