Puddles has that old school 1950's crooner voice. You were born outside of your time my guy but you are still one of my absolute favorites just for not using auto tune in this day and age.

Always try the venue directly. It's a poor venue (or maybe a soulless chain place - cough, O2, cough) that can't sell it's own tickets. Most use Ticketmaster, etc, in order to get some necessary upfront finance.

I appreciate you advocating for science, Puddles. For those out there who don't always understand science, but aren't willing to believe in it blindly -- scientists consider this to be a good thing. Get educated, familiarize yourself with the scientific method, and demand evidence when people make claims. Be open-minded, but not so much so that your brain falls out. If that's too much (after all, there's only so many hours in the day), then at least get your information from reputable sources that align with scientific consensus whenever possible. Avoid sources with strong political affiliations in general, avoid sources focused on scaring you or offering simple solutions to big, complex problems. Good luck out there, y'all.

I was hestitant as well, but my two tickets were $125 with only $20 going to additional fees, so it seemed worth it (especially since seeing Weird Al has been on my bucket list for 30 years now). That said, I don't know how much of the original $55 per ticket might have had other hidden fees tacked on, and Ticketmaster is definitely not a force for good.
