Are the beaches, pools, and lazy river free? Were they any other excursions offered besides the taxi tour?

Yes, all free! Just not food and drinks. It was my first time going so I wanted to enjoy the beach club so I didn't look into other excursions but I imagine there are other things to do, take a taxi somewhere 😉

Hello I have a question we’re sailing on the Mardi Gras in July but our port is amber cove. Can we take a taxi over too Taino bay and hangout for a couple hrs?? it looks better than amber cove. Lol

I would think so. There is a taxi stand on the other end of Taino Bay I saw people coming and going over there and I agree I might do the same thing if I was docked in Amber Cove

I don't think so we didnt have a wristband even from the ship or anything it was just open and there were multiple ships, the shopping area leads right into pool area no gate and taxi area just a pull up and no gate or person to check, I think they rely on the businesses to drive profit, Shops restaurants rental cabanas and drinks cost $

Us dollars is their bff lol we love it and should be able to take us dollars iam here atm in DR this place is like 5m away from my house i will go tomorrow with my family and come bk to let u know if they accept usd but normaly they do here they accept different type of Currency even from europe
