2 days in old San Juan.. really cool city but not for longer than that. Maybe check out luquillo then go to isla culebra and do a boat trip to tortuga. Call captain bill or Capn Dave. Flamenco beach and Tortuga beach are 2 of the top 5 beaches in the world. Probably best/easiest and cheaper to fly there from San Juan.. the ferry is iffy and it’s cheapest to rent a car just to get to the ferry. Rincon is cool but it takes forever to get there... I’d say 4 hr drive from San Juan. Not fun, lots of toll roads and the drivers are crazy AF. Make sure to eat tripletas, pan de agua sandwiches, pasteles and lechonara.. drink Don q rum and gasolinas..no one there would drink Bacardi. Make your own food if you like cooking, the restaurants there are $$$$$ and you’d be surprised at how unhealthy the food is. Learn a little Spanish and know the locals take their time doing anything and will always lie to you😂. Do Airbnb wherever you go. Contact them before you go and try staying for a week.. they’ll prolly give you a 25-50% discount. Rent a golf cart on culebra or do public transit. Camp on flamenco beach! Highly suggest going to culebra.. the main island can be a complete shit show and was the worst place I’ve been in the world as far as culture shock goes😂🤪. Check out I Need Vacations channel. He has some sweet videos about PR. Good luck and if you need any help reach out👍🏼

Great video! We stayed in the Condado area for a couple nights, and the beach waters were so treacherous that while wading I got knocked down! Thankfully my husband grabbed me before I was carried out with the currents, which were so strong. I ended up losing my sunglasses, getting completely soaked head to toe, and coming out of the ocean with my bottoms and top FULL of sand! I was laughing from the shock, but that beach has crazy strong waves that could be dangerous to anyone. I don’t recommend anyone wading or trying to swim there while there are waves.

Hey! This was not a solo trip and I think that 5 days is the perfect amount to explore one area on the island such as isla verde or San Juan. There are so many activities in day trips from this part of the island
