I’m sorry but this is Costa Rica, not Jamaica....why couldn’t you have found someone singing in a Costa Rican native music instead of Jamaica?

156 K Puerto Viejo has a lot of Jamaican descendant culture so they also speak patua or Jamaican however you wanna call it. Also, people who sing on this video are locals from Cahuita and Puerto Viejo.

Joel Gaggstatter okay interesting to me I did not know. I guess jamaican culture is so widespread. But the singers in the video sound very jamaican to me. It’s just interesting to see rasta flags and stuff I didn’t know it was so widespread throughout the Caribbean. I care a lot about preserving my culture that’s why I ask.

@@kriss939 the last song says "No where like Limon, Limon is the land of all freedom." These videos are shot in the playas of Limon

This part of Costa Rica is a little Jamaica, the singer is Walter Ferguson, Calypso King, born in Cahuita...can't be more local. Patwa language is part of the culture. This is what we love about this place it is a mix of different influences.
