I lost my dad this past New Years. As I listen to this song, it makes me think of him. My dad and i were close and the more i wake up every day i just wish i can call him again and talk about each other's day. I remember the good days and the bad days with him, but the ones i regret are the bad days. There have been so many mistakes that he made that i forgave him for and some i had kept my anger on. This past year, my great-aunt past away due to covid, as well as my dog...well she the dog didn't have covid... but I've known the dog since I was born...it was a hard day, and when I listen to this song, I automatically start crying over the both of them.
