Thank you for the trip around Mull; I really enjoyed it. I'm very familiar with the island, but only on land, so to see it from the water is a real treat. It is incredibly beautiful. I was surprised to see so many basalt columns and the extraordinary patterns they've formed.

Wonderful Donny (again!) the scenery is simply stunning. And you had lovely weather for the most part. I can imagine if the weather turns its brutal out there!

Great Video Donny, at 11.17 the drone seems to have captured a couple of seals hunting around the rock , although given the beauty of the location it may have been mermaids😀

Very impressed Donny, well done. Some great footage from what looks a fantastic trip. You could wear a radar reflector hat, of some sort.

Fantastic, I personally think all the films are great and truly love them .I ve been out around some cliffs in North Wales this week and found which I'm sure we all know the films do not give them true justice to the scenery, The views you film must be absolutely fantastic close up, So pleased you take the time to film and edit these for us all to enjoy, thx Donny
@donnywilcox6 ай бұрын
Thanks terence and you are correct..its hard to capture the feeling of height of cliffs when below them in a small boat.. My videos try..but its not the same as being there 😀

Super video again Donny. Thanks for the effort you put into making them, appreciated! A lovely area I have been privileged to visit on a few occasions ( and luckily by sail as well). Love that pink granite. Did visit the Tresnish Isles once on tourist vessel ( Turus Mara ? ) which was excellent but not to be compared to exploring by rib or yacht. Glad you get to take essential ‘gravy’ or Brewdog with you, maybe a drop of malt would go down well in the evening?
@donnywilcox6 ай бұрын
I have a wee hip flask for emergency use only robert ..or to celebrate a decent event happening ..but I tend to keep to the less volatile gravy for general medicinal use 😀

Great set of 3 videos I think I saw you set off for this one early in the morning I really wanted to follow you but I know how much you love your privacy and thought it would be rude of me so I just bored other people I knew in the area I was in crying about not going. Really love your video so keep them coming your an inspiration. Ray K UK 🇬🇧 YNWA.

A great adventure indeed…..stunning showcasing of the area, hopefully we get some heat and you manage to get in for a swim this year….great navigation in the fog, I’d be very nervous inching my way through that, I can imagine your ‘surprise’ at seeing a Yacht silently creeping out of it just in front of you 😂
@donnywilcox6 ай бұрын
My heart jumped when I saw the shape of the yacht looming out the mist so close Libertas ..then I was so relieved when I sussed out it was slow moving. I did curse coming across the other two yachts behind it though.. I felt enough was enough lol.

Probably some of your best drone shots - but a bit scary with crossing through all that fog😟
@donnywilcox6 ай бұрын
Hi bob ,,yes I didnt enjoy that crossing. Had I know the fog was the full way across I would have waited but I was also aware the forecast was for strong winds getting up that evening. All worked out well though..thanks for commenting 😀

I couldn't take my eyes off for a second in case i missed anything, you've certainly mastered the drone footage with aplomb, without you i would be in ignorance of your wonderful views of and narrative everywhere you go. For some reason i was more relaxed watching when all the rocks were so visible and you were so so confident in the Fog to get home. Where have all the fish gone in the shallows nowadays or was that two among the tangle? I've not seen a flounder for years either. Much appreciated Donny Well Done.
@donnywilcox6 ай бұрын
Hi rha.. I think the fish are still there in the shallows but not very big ones. Lots of seaweed for them to hide under. I do see the odd flat fish dart out the way of my big feet when walking the boat into deeper water. I keep hoping to get a whale from over head drone footage..or even a pod of dolphins..but only managed a few seals so far :-D

What a cracking cruising ground! Those rock formations were stunning. I loved all those little islands and the beaches were just beautiful. Are you still using the Vango Galaxy 300 tent?
@harrylinsdell81146 ай бұрын
Dear me it looks like paradise, just like the Caribbean as your say,what a fantastic video to watch ,relax and enjoy.we are so lucky you share these with them with us.thank you for your time and effort
@donnywilcox6 ай бұрын
Hi Stuart..yup..its a lovely area. I still have the Vango Galaxy but not used it this year at all. In truth I find it a bit big for a quick overnight stop..and also because of its size..very obvious so dont like leaving it set up when I go off adventuring for the day. My latest tent..in the recent new video will hopefully replace bother the Banshee and the Galaxy tents..but Im still experimenting :-D

Nope ..no fishing on that trip user-en. I do fish occasionally but I find I get bored unless Im getting a few. Had some nice trout out Loch Etive lately though..that will be in a forthcoming video :-D
