Tiny Van Life on the Isle of Mull, Scotland

Our van adventures on the Isle of Mull begin by heading to Lochbuie, before moving west to Fionnhport with a quick trip to the stunning Isle of Iona. We absolutely loved Iona and definitely want to make it somewhere we go back to and spend longer at next time! We then start heading north. Join us next week for more tiny van life on Mull!

I got back this morning from a week on Arran. There's something about being on an island, it just feels different. Arran is so beautiful. Saw Seals 🦭 Otters, amazing bird life. Can't wait to return. I travelled round in my little van wild camping every night. Just heaven

I panicked slightly when I thought you were going in for a swim. If anything could have induced an early pregnancy it would be water as cold as Scotland's (without the gulf stream to assist)! 🥶 Beautiful video though..

My parents and I have been going to fidden for over 40 years. Best place to camp ever! It’s got a very special place in our hearts! It has this crazy microclimate there, the mainland and northern part of mull can’t be horrendous weather and the leg is usually in the sun! Can’t believe you guys are on mull! We try to keep it a secret as we don’t want it getting busy 😜😜 Hope you enjoyed! 🤟🏼

Mull is my Brigadoon, my favorite place on the planet. We had so many family holidays there and are looking forward to going back; Oslo is so chilled... Thanks for this, it brings back so many beautiful memories.

Lovely relaxing video Well done guys🙂I was fortunate anough to have visited mull on one occasion on many of my Highland Journeys up from the South Coast of England. Unfortunately I was not able to make the most of it as these were work trips,And I do remember getting my van stuck in mud on a track up to a site. I had no phone signal to get help (Which was ironic because I was working on a mobile phone tower,No people anyway Just the sound of the relentless rain and sheep...Lots of them!But a friendly local came to my rescue and drove me up to there cottage to use the landline to get rescued. As much as things good have been better on this particular trip,I've put the place on my bucket list to return on a leisure trip As the natural beauty of the place is stunning whatever the weather!

My wife and I just watched this with both jealousy and fond memories. We spent Christmas on Iona in 2018. Such a beautiful Island and the locals were so welcoming. The smell of the land as we drove across Mull was just so earthy. love the vids,

Lovely to see Mull again, I was lucky enough to live there in the 70's. 1 year at Pennyghael , on the road towards Iona and 3 years at Aros, just south of Tobermory. A beautiful island, am looking forward to your next video, thanks.

@@RambleFamily They do day trips to Iona, but although it's a small island, it is absolutely fascinating if you take your time and spend a few days or a week there. On the west of the island are beautiful long beaches and sand dunes where you can spend the whole day in perfect isolation with the sound of the waves!

Beautiful place lovely video. Dad took us there in his caravanette in the 80's we went all over Scotland in it and it was the happiest times of our lives. Children love camping in vans the baby will have a fabulous childhood. xx

Hi, just watched your visit to Mull, my wife and I were there 10 years ago and we will return, didn’t do enough planning prior due our spontaneous lifestyle, done all of the tourist trail but got of the byways and beachfront to experience the quality of this beautiful island, went on to Skye following this trip, which is equally as good apart from all the tourist hubbub.
