Someone is shooting at your car at a red light you’d probably rather break out on foot than to hit the gas and slam into traffic. Unfortunately for BIG he had no where to go. Honestly after years of listening to Gene stories I draw the final conclusion that Big was set up by people he thought he could trust. Puffy wanted to make sure that he was going to be at the party to be killed. When he said that puff was walking around looking back and forth he was making sure the shooter was in place. The guy driving the car with biggie job was to make sure he didn’t take off from the light and that he was able to get shot enough times not to survive. The guy who was driving to the hospital job was to make sure that he didn’t arrive quickly so he could be DOA. After years of listening to stories even cease seem like he wasn’t a genuine friend. Puff gained probably billions off of big since his death. LAPD has a small percentage to do with this as well.

I've heard Gene give several interviews, and I never got the impression that Puff set Biggie up to die. He was definitely reckless by going out to LA just months after Pac was killed. I sensed that Puff got careless and thought it was ok to go to LA because Pac was dead and Suge Knight was in prison. He just had a horrible judge in timing. I don't blame him for Big's death but he does bear some responsibility for his reckless behavior.
