I love this movie, scared me so much as a kid! The little boy is played by Rory Culkin, not McCauley Culkin from Home Alone, and Merrill is Graham's brother not his son 😅 it made me laugh when you thought he was just venting about his wife's horrific death to his child

I love this movie and I actually love the idea of aliens coming here, realizing they picked the wrong place, and threw it in reverse and left immediately. Similar to how the aliens in War of the Worlds can't handle our atmosphere. The dinner scene never fails to make me absolutely *WEEP!*

You can give the WotW aliens the benefit of a doubt. Maybe they thought that their immunity can handle it, or that their medicine is good for that, or that their air purifiers won´t let it in. But the Sings aliens? Those are just plain stupid. Earth for them is like Venus for us. And they went there butt-naked.

I wish when reactors sit down to react to a movie they pay a bit more attention to what they're actually watching. That's my biggest pet peeve in videos like this. The whole time you were going on about probing you missed a big chuck of info about him falling asleep at the wheel and you understand that that's how the wife died. So seeing him in the flashback shouldn't gave been a surprise. I was also nervous ypu were going to miss the alien at the birthday party because you were preoccupied with your cat. You saw the alien, which is good, but the whole buildup to it flew over your head haha. Other than that, nice and fun reaction lol

Signs is one of my all-time favs - this is peak Shyamalan right here, back when he was throwing out bangers. It's also the last of the trio of films that established him as one of the great filmmakers of the late 90s-early 00's, and the other two (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable) are also absolutely must watches. On an unrelated note, I've recently realized that crop circles haven't really been a 'thing' for some time now, at least not in the news like they were 20+ years ago, to the point that there's a whole generation of people who don't even know what they are. That makes me feel old. When I was a kid, crop circles and quicksand were presented as something I needed to be worried about, and yet, here we are. I feel robbed.

The aliens having water for a weakness is why they left in a hurry. They mentioned it over the radio. And they left their wounded behind, which is why the alien at the end was still there. It was the same one that Mel cut the fingers off in the pantry. Coming to earth was a desperation move.

I was terrified of this movie as a child, I went to see it in theaters, I was eight. It's good to watch it again after having seen actual horror movies and realize how much of a scaredy-cat I was! I can appreciate it for the horror it did have, but not as scary as I thought it was.

As a queer man, the gayliens joke was funny as fuck. On another note, the movie “Signs” is actually a film about faith disguised as an alien takeover film. If you’re interested in more M.Night films, definitely check out “The Sixth Sense”, “Unbreakable”, which has 2 follow up films, “Split” and “Glass” that should be seen in order. Also, “The Village” and “The Lady In The Water” which people don’t like as much but I’m personally a fan of.

I love this movie. It freaked me out a little as a kid. love the slow build up and glimpses of the aliens until they are fully revealed. Also highly recommend Alien Abduction and Dark Skies. They are great alien movies

This movie had a legitimate psychological impact on me as a kid. My dad showed it to my siblings and I right after it came out on DVD/TV. We grew up in a county in Illinois that is very rural. The main town only has like 3500 people in it and we grew up in the country well outside of town surrounded by cornfields and thick forests. You didn’t go outside as a kid without at least one of your siblings and you all had pocket knives at the very least. Even to this day when I walk out I am strapped locked and loaded 🤣. Especially when the corn is up. Even when it isn’t up it is still creepy. Our county has the most UFO sightings per capita in the state and we knew it even then too. So naturally there was a real effect on us as kids like I said

Green Thumb Fact: The production used a new watering technique to make the corn grow faster, which the Delaware Valley agricultural college was then very keen to adopt for themselves. After filming, the film company donated all the corn grown to the college's vegetable and fruit market. Location Location Fact: Only the scenes in the bookstore and the pizza shop were filmed in Newtown, PA. The drugstore scene was filmed in Morrisville, PA. I absolutely love this movie and it terrified me as a kid. But in saying that there are some details that not many people pick up on, the pantry door was locked for the first alien so it couldn't get out, they don't have problems with doors they were able to get into the house easily until the barricaded door in the basement. And they weren't coming here to invade and take over, as you heard the radio say, they were here to harvest us presumably to come back in the future acclimated to our climates. They weren't coming to invade to stay since they were harmed by water. And at the end when you were saying if anywhere else still is invaded by the aliens, the radio again says that they fled during the night, so that means the alien that's holding the boy at the end in the TV reflection was left behind because he was trapped, then broke out and found his way to the neighbor's house which was their house. Sorry to be a nerd but I've heard these claims for so long and a lot of people make fun of this movie because of those reasons
