Glad that was changed at least. 🤢

The, sex.....yes please, joke when filling in the form was kinda a real thing in the UK. Forms used to say, sex and leave you to fill in your gender. But everyone thought they were being clever and original when they wrote, yes please. They had to change all the official forms to tick one box and had, male and female or other. Which was originally put in (this is 70's I'm talking about) as a joke counterpoint to the previous situation. However in subsequent years it's become a real thing. A lot of Mike Meyers' jokes are really old hat to British people. Mike Meyers' father is Scottish and he spent a lot of time in the UK as a child, where he would have heard some of these, very British, dad jokes. Old hat to us, but the US has never heard them before. Wow, Mike Meyers, he's really a genius, how does he think up these gags? Answer, he doesn't, he sells to America what's unknown to them, but kinda old hat, to us. That's particularly true of Goldmember. It's one of the things Meyers has always done in his comedy.
