Don’t listen to them man. Yeah you’re voice is very different from Yorke’s but given your level of talent, you’d already know that. You know it’s not suited to grunge style rock. But put some ballad style piano with some subtle chromatic movement behind your voice and the comments here would be completely different. If you want to actually go further into grunge then you should work out how to put a bit of dirt onto your voice. Less breathy and falsetto combo and more chest and nasal combo.
