Seems crazy for $13k. For less that $300 you can get the ck worldwide 70 amp micro torch and run it on the welder of your choice (I run HTP welders) and you could do the same thing and save $8k plus.

Good Day Ulas. There is a setting for aluminum in the machine, so it can absolutely do it. The only requirement is argon.

@David Chatterton No one pickles TIG welds dude, if you have to pickle a TIG weld then you got to go back to school. I passivate my stainless welds if they are critical but they sure as shit don't need pickling.

For welding brass, you need to use only purified argon (999.99) or will it be normal? I have PUK-5.

Good Day Arel,The argon regulator that is for the PUK highlights how much gas flow is required. Generally, it is between 3 and 4 liters per minute.

To answer both questions, yes you want to use ultra high purity (UPH) argon, 99.9% pure. Also, the regulator that you get with the machine attaches to the tank, and that is how you adjust your gas flow. :)

I had a house fire. My jewelry is smoke damaged and has mud and gunk on it. I have lots of other items to clean like ceramic bowls which have left over smoke damage in carved areas I cannot scrub off. I need a large ultrasonic cleaner. Why should I buy a high priced Gesswein? Isn't your cleaner made in the same Chinese shop as Harbor Freight or Amazon? How many transducers do your cleaners have? What is the typical time cycle for a thorough cleaning of smoke damage on jewelry? How can i judge if one cleaner is more powerful than another - what are the standards? What is your cleaning solution made of? Am I paying a high price for detergent or soda? I am ready to buy a high quality ultrasonic cleaner and cleaning solution if you can give me some answers to my questions. Thank you for your time!
